The Manitowoc CVDF3000 is a 5.5 HP air-cooled remote condensing unit engineered specifically for Indigo Series QuietQube and SF-3000C Series remote condenser ice machines, setting it apart from standard remote condenser solutions through its proprietary Cool Vapor Defrost (CVD) technology. Unlike conventional hot gas evaporator systems that require the compressor to remain close to the ice-making unit, CVD harnesses vapor refrigerant from the receiver tank to drive the harvest cycle, allowing all compressor heat and noise to be relocated entirely away from the customer environment. The result is measurably quieter operation, lower ambient temperatures around the ice machine, and improved overall efficiency. Rated at 208-230V, 3-Phase, 60 Hz with a 30-amp hardwire connection, the unit supports up to 100 feet of line length and is built for flexible indoor or outdoor installation.
